In the final moments of The Resident's season six premiere, the episode paused to pay tribute to a much-loved fellow member of the coiffure who recently passed abroad.

The title card read: "In Loving Memory of Chris Harrell."

Harrell'south connection to The Resident reportedly came through his work for the Atlanta-based company Teamsters Local 728, which provides aid with the production of films and Goggle box shows filmed in the land.

The Resident's creator pays tribute

Following the circulate of episode ane, 1 of The Resident'southward co-creators and writers, Amy Holden Jones, took to social media to pay a tribute of her own.

Responding to a query on Twitter, the 67-year-onetime screenwriter said Harrell was "A long term crew fellow member who was treasured" by The Resident's bandage and crew.

Jones too confirmed that Harrell "passed this year," while according to a GoFundMe folio set up up for Chris, he passed away unexpectedly earlier in 2022 during a medical procedure.

He is survived by his married woman and children.
